Are you sure you are not overfilling it and it is retuning to the natural max level? The only way to see the min/max levels is to remove the bottle (pull it up).

Yeah im sure, i have managed to run the resevoir dry once or twice forgetting to check it.

Quick update, did the iacv gasket today but havent run the car so will update again later wil info.

I checked all the vac lines and couldnt find any issues. there was no suction on the egr line though, is that right with the blanking plate? do i still need to block the line?

And i cracked the coolant nipple with the engine running and no air, just coolant.
