With the imminent finish of my Lude, I finally pulled my finger out  and sorted out the garage for it.
And she now has a home...

When I first saw the garage I was a bit concerned about the door width, about 200cms. Is this wide enough? :?
Been giving a few useful hints for ensuring I park up with no problems such as:

Padding/protection on the walls for doors
Small run of wood on the floor for back wheels to act as a reminder for when your in far enough

Now I just need the car back to put her home.

Looks a bit on the slim side, definitely needs door protectors on the side walls to prevent the brick chipping your paint. Thin slats of wood at the appropriate height, covered in copper pipe insulation should do the trick.

It's great to see that ass' again like that.
So I swung by the coachworks today after getting the disappointing news she was not going to be ready this weekend due to the rear windscreen not being fitted yet.
However I was greeted by the above. All in. And looking GREAT!!

Only thing left to do is wash up the rims. I am collecting her next Saturday. No doubt best weekend of the year thus far!!
It finally means I can get onto all the ideas I've been having.

Firstly get the number plate relocated fitted. I got the old central position smoothed over so it now looks ultra clean 8-)

Then after many conversations. Profile reads. Tool purchasing. This will be coming....

Not the engine, but the insane tuck!! This is my pal Steve's old DC2.
My inspiration for engine tucking.

So roll on the 7th March :D

So finally picked my Lude back up today.
As I'm sure many of you have experienced. I woke up super early. Mega excited. And raring to go.

I am not disappointed. She's stunning!!

Please forgive the dodgy phone pictures.
Will need to get some proper shots taken. Been out enjoying her today though, visited a few pubs with my pal and his Alfa. We definitely drew some attention with the cars. Haha :D

Just returned home and the finishing touch has arrived in the post.
Prelude badge of eBay.

Currently having difficulties with getting more pictures uploaded so I will finish this off tomorrow.
For now, I'm going to enjoy the car 8-) 8-) 8-)
