The security key was straightened a bit, but I couldn't do anything about the rounds edges of the pins. Infuriatingly, the thing grips well enough not to ride out when tightening ... just what I don't need!
The Halfords 'female easi-outs' are too large for the nut boss.

Time you went into a home I think. 
1. Surely using your imagination you can translate the shape of the key posted by Sailor and see that it's not going to marry with the locking nuts you posted.
2. Furthermore you still questioned it after I posted exactly the type of nut Sailor is struggling with, again nothing like the ones you posted.
