Guess the descriptions they are giving, lead you to believe that the model year '87, by their accounts, equates to a 2g, which is presumably the one you want. Quick thought, if the rear window measurements are identical for a 2g and 3g, won't make any difference for you which one you get.

I've never seen a 3g in the flesh so im wondering if the actual shape of the rear screen would come into play.
The other thing is i have no idea how these are fitted lol

Hi Boomer.
Just checked my 3g window dimensions. Not taking into account the curvature of the glass, I've measured corner to corner in a straight line, the dimensions come out thus: Top 1130, Bottom 1380, Height 600. So the dimensions are not too far out. Hope this helps.
