Great looking cage. Safety aside a weld-in cage is one of the best performance mods you can get, its makes the car so stiff and allows it to corner so much better 8-) My cage transformed my car.

You'll be fine. Last year I used Tein Basic coilovers which are low end road coilovers with 9kg on the front and 6kg on the back. I still had a great time.

Wait a couple of months and I will let you know what the MeisterR GT1 coilovers are like

Right..
Been busy but not much to show.

Reorganised my garage as it was a mess. made lots of shelfs on the wall and tire rack.

Image
Now working on the wiring, made a alu plate and mounted the two fuseboxes. Will have to attach some more wiring and relais but its getting there.
Battery mount is ready and cables are done.

Image

Also fabricated a bracket with remote battery terminals. I won't be able to get to my battery for charging and jumpstarts so this is just thinking ahead.

I have ordered loads of stuff for my dash including a EGT guage and water temp guage.
Made a cardboard template and cut and bended a new midconsole.
Now I have to wait for all my goodies to arrive and then I can determine what goes where.
The origional frame is still unerneath the midsection so its very strong.
I will plastidip the whole thing black when its done.

Next few days I'm going to do some more work but been down with the flu for the last week or so.. will have to take it easy,,
Till next time .. soon

Extremely neat work B-)

As for the battery terminals for jump starting, had you considered an Anderson plug?
