evening all
a small update on today's progress:

so, checked water flows and to see if any crap came out, and there was none which was great! also did the same process with the radiator which was full of crap so it was worthwhile in the freezing cold.
also started to spray the ancillaries so 2 base coats of primer then a selection in silver and a selection in black. for whatever reason the black in the photos looks strange on the inlet it looks shimmery and on the throttle body it seems wavey lol
next stage will be to finish spraying with several coats of lacquer then turn to actually rebuilding the engine getting it ready for timing etc.
i am still awaiting a load of parts to come from Japan seals and gaskets etc, the Euro-R pulley has come and the Kaizenspeed manual timing tensioner also plus a barrage of other parts and accessories etc

Evening all so after a couple of weekends away doing other things we were back at this weekend finishing the paint and actually started to reassemble the engine. this has been treated to all new HOnda seals and gaskets for near enough every part besides the head.
i also started the horrid process of removing the paint of the rocker, i have been using Nitormorse to get the harder parts off and only have the niggly bits left to finish before i start to spray that next weekend.
here are a few pics of the progress:
