Powerflow exhaust fitting issues

That's how the middle hanger is at the moment. Its back in the garage in the morning so Ill investigate that middle hanger. If it turns out not to be that is it safe enough to heat and bend the exhaust pipe?

That's the problem. There are 2 rubber hangers cable tied together.
Bin either the top (or bottom) one and fit the one rubber hanger.

If the back box hangers are disconnected first, I expect they should be able to lift the pipe enough (if the back box hangers are fitted first, they will seriously limit how far they can lift the exhaust). The back box hangers should be fitted last.

Otherwise yes, they can try to heat and bend the pipe, though unless they're proper exhaust fitters with a pipe bender, I don't know how successful they would be...

I think he knows that wurly, and he just cable tied it as he couldn't get them anywhere near?. But yeah, middle hangers first -should- help!

The order of fitment should not really matter. I always fit the back one first, then the others, it's pretty much the only way when you're on your own with the car only a foot off the ground!

Same here. I just get a trolley jack involved if needs be.

OK so plan for tomorrow then is to take it all off an try to refit. If that doesn't work I've spoke to a mechanical engineer who said he would be able to bend it into the shape I need.

And might be a silly question but i better make sure. Can the Decat be fitted either direction or is there a specific way it goes?

yeah its probably the difference between the different bumpers take yours off use the hanger that you cant reach and see where it ends up
