didn't get any for my spoiler
I've just had a bill from dhl for £16 import duty so I guess my splitter kit is definitely on its way. In total it's cost me a little over £500 for the front and rear splitter and rear mid spoiler so not cheap but only available in Japan so I didn't really have a choice.

I managed to find a set of sideskirts in a scrap yard at Newcastle for £30 so that's offset my costs a little but I'll still be looking at a about a grand once painted.

I'll have to see how poor I am after I get them all fitted and new exhaust on before I seriously think about importing some wheels. For now I'm gonna stick my Motegi wheels on for the winter and try my Rotas back on next year with a set of 15mm spacers on the back to give me a better idea on fitment.

Excellent idea, but we would need to find someone with a second gen to complete the set.
I'm sure we can find one somewhere. Maybe.

Still busy working on the accord. The bodywork I'm saving until it's finished before taking pics but here's an update on progress so far.

The calipers are all shot blasted and in the process of getting painted.

I have the discs already on the car and a similar line up of parts as what I used on the Aerodeck ready to be fitted ( Hel hoses / Hawk pads ).

I had a bit of trouble getting the rear brake hoses apart from the hard lines and it resulted in them getting damaged. I decided to invest in a pipe bending and flaring kit rather than paying some one else to make them and have bent them to roughly the right shape before offering them up to the car. I will flare the ends once they are trimmed to the correct length.

I also managed to get hold of this...

It's a factory fresh blue top rocker cover. I managed to get one from the states rather than Japan. It was more expensive than I would have liked but still cheaper than from a uk dealership (even with discount).

I will hopefully have the accord back on the road this month so look out for further updates.

They're not done yet lol. We'll have to see when I fit them. It was about £250 including shipping and import fees.

I've got tomorrow and Friday off work and nothing to do other than work on the car so hopefully you should see more updates soon. The last of the parts are due back from the body shop this week and the paint is dry on the calipers so all is looking good.
