H22 pistons

Post by Blista » Mon Jan 12, 2015 9:10 am

Hi,

I'm looking for 4 H22 pistons from a 4th gen Prelude.
EUDM or JDM (yeah I know they're different), just tell me what you have and make me an offer with shipping included to France.
I'd like to see photos before buying.

I'll Paypal in GB Pounds, no worries.

I'm looking for standard bore (87.00mm).

If there are multiple variants (like A and B on Type-S/Type-R pistons), then I don't know what I need to fit my block, do you have any advice regarding this ?

look at the block? its stampped at the back of the block on vertical facing surface, the same as the head is bolted to, its at the timing belt end. there will be 4 letters a combination of A's and B's

Ok then I guess I'll have to take a look before going further.
Thanks for the information.

I don't have any standard size ones for sale :(

but if you'd like uprated ones I have a set of ATR AAAA ones for sale here I could quote shipping for;

but as phil says, check your block first;

Thanks, but they'll have to fit H23 rods. Do you know what mods I have to do to use ATR pistons on H23 rods ? The axis aren't the same (pressed vs. clipped)...

Just like Phil said. Pictured below
Merlin wrote:On the belt side of the engine look where the head joins the block. On the back of the engine there is a little narrow "shelf" right near the belt cover, and the letters are stamped on it. It will no doubt be covered in gunk that will need to be wiped away before you can see the letters.

Edit -

is it a H23 or H23A? you may need a H22 head for it to work otherwise you'd get the pistons knocking on the valves methinks
