I have no experience of CRX's but defer to advice given here by others.. You're better off keeping Luke on the road, as rust will only get worse if you lay him up. Cost-wise, an extra couple of mm's of rust being cut out will not add to the total welding costs. He'll also develop more issues by being laid -up, likes of brakes seizing etc, etc... will p.m you, regards high level brake wiring.
Cheers Mike.

I have ordered a set of grommets from eBay - pending delivery.
Its OK - if Jap cars that reliable, my CRX sat in garage for 2.5 months and started with no prob.

Hope Luke the same - eeek!

OK

Luke has another month tax left.
I ll quickly put him back on road ONLY when I get the seals /grommets on him.

Then he stays in garage (rare excursions out to stop any seizing etc) until he gets welded out...or that I cant find another daily car ...

The rust curing/ prevention products you've used will help inhibit and slow down the rust issue, even if you continue using him over winter. Hopefully you'll have the rear light cluster gaskets soon, and a little bit of condense won't do too much harm, you could put a goldfish in one of mine for over a year when the rear lens got vandalised!!

Great looking cars.
Don't think I'd fancy one as an auto though, tbf.
Hope you got decent money for it?

I'd do a continuity test on the bulb to be sure first. If the bulb genuinely is ok, and you definitely have 12v across the fog light connector on the car, then you're going to have to check that the harness on the actual lamp is intact and that the terminals are clear of corrosion.

I wonder if it was the other fog I did the continuity test on the other day and failed?

If its harness then it explains why both fogs didn't work ....
