Thanks alot guys
@prelude91 cheers but I was happy enough just being nominated last month
..
2015 is going to be a big year for this car so we will see what the future holds
Thought I best just put a photo showing this as it was all professional fitted as a previous owner of this car ran a car audio centre..
Spare wheel is errrr................ no longer required

Thanks @rdprelude
I just used generic silver VHT rattle can paint, I preped by firstly going over it all with a wire brush to get the worst off, then using course sand paper went over it again..
after that I cleaned the surface up with brake cleaner to remove the dust and crud..
I only put one good coat of paint on and fair play its still looking good now after 6+ months

Yesterday I finally got around to sorting my needle illumination out.
Was like this for quite some time and started sticking lately too..

Was pretty simple, firstly removed both tweeter covers
(which revealed that I have aftermarket tweeters)

Then removed the upper plastick panel which is held by a row of self tappers..
This will then allow you to un clip the transparent fuel, temp and clock cover.. there is also two screws holding this aswell..

Should now have access to the 4 screws holding the clocks in place, then unplug the 4-5 plugs on the back..
with it removed you can now take the 3 screws holding the rear cover panel on the back of the clocks off which exposes the circuit board..
then comes the slightly tricky part of soldering the wires to the correct points on the board, be carefull not to get solder everywhere and make connections with circuits that shouldnt be.. best way is put solder on the wire first..

Now just reverse the process and....
whalah!!

Took me about an hour, thats being very careful..
Don't know why I didn't do it ages ago

Classic problem, classic fix.
I know what you mean, but its one of those things you can easily live with, so will always get pushed to the back of the queue.
