We Germans celebrate Christmas on the 24th.
Good stuff: family together, nice food and wine and a present or two.

I'm chuffed: anyone out there want to give me some pointers on bottleneck guitar?

Sorry @Donald - I've never been to Berlin or to anywhere in Finland.

My nephew tells me Berlin is the clubbing capital of Europe ... and he's from Duesseldorf, so he might have an idea. We might get there on this year's road trip, but are more likely to end up further south.

Ah, no problem.

I've been to Helsinki before, highly recommend it. A trip to Suomenlinna is worth a go whilst you're there too.

From what I've been told Berlin is very different to the majority of German cities, but I've only been to a few and some years apart so can't really compare.

Thanks Drax 8-)

 This was certainly what I did on A LOT of Christmas's when I was single!!!
Not like the hangovers you have when you're in a relationship.
 but actually, now you come to mention it, I also did exactly that when I was in a previous relationship that wasn't all that great... :?
