I spent two years trying to get a substance-abuse rehab centre going. It didn't fit at all with my career to-date and I learned an awful lot that even my vaguely hippy-dippy past did not prepare me for.prelude91 wrote:I've been doing volunteering work with an organisation which advises people on substance miss-use, very satisfying, and eye opening. Makes me appreciate how well my life has panned out compared to some others. Keep your pecker up , gayno.
Unfortunately, the centre was to have been in Ukraine; Putin and his mob put a stop to investment confidence recently ...
... as he did with the orphanage and the Alzheimer's village we were working on.
So, yes, get involved in stuff. Tweak the boundaries of your knowledge and experience.
On a different note, today I went to Seaford to a housewarming party. I was looking forward to using my new dashcam. Got home, keen to see how it had worked in the dark.
I hadn't switched it on

It is a bit compact down there, but then it is the old part of town. I imagine those houses are quite nice to live in though if cottages are your thing (and provided you don't have loads of cars!). I used to live in a similar sized terrace and had to move out because my dog was barking at the neighbours through the wallsSailor wrote:A dinky little cottage in Croft Lane.jjmartin349571 wrote:Whereabouts in seaford mate? I did think of you briefly, if only to wonder how you got on with the Legacy.

You probably drove right past my house on the way in to town, I live by the buckle bypass. You probably drove by my parent's farm as well, where the Leggy currently resides

sorry to hear that adam. Get on tinder and get laid a few times and then turn your eye to another one with real potential. life is a succession of female interviews, some get called back, some dont. You never give a job for life though and you never feel too bad about staff turn over as it means there are new positions to fill
In the mean time get out with your single friends on xmas eve and spoil xmas day due to a hangover, a real hangover. Not like the hangovers you have when you're in a relationship.
