3G: Engine noise sound ok?

Luke is my daily car
I do VERY short journeys every night (school runs, after school taxi-ing etc).

Do i need to service (oil/filter change etc EVERY 3 months???)

No. 6k will be fine.

So they should have done the valve clearances then. Happy days - hopefully they've just come loose/gone out of adjustment.

I did mention to garage at the time - they said it was like that when they saw it.

Garaged said they fixed the leak and resealed the rocker cover:

That's the plastic guide that carries the alternator loom. Not likely to be that making the noise, but start it up and prod the plastic and see if it goes away.
The oil leak might not be from the rocker cover?
Was it leaking that badly before today?

After garage no leaks

I just noticed it leaking this morning :-(

Hi Guys, Wayne, the oil level / pressure warning light is the one on extreme right top, of the group of six warning lights above and between the tacho and speedo. It looks like an oil can. This should come on with the ignition and go out again with all the others just after start up. Cam lobes don't look too bad from the image you display. Glad oil level is good on dipstick. How does she sound this morning? Have you found anything major loose under the bonnet which may be rattling around?
