because they were bought by old people originally and they keep cars for ever? A 60year old bought it in 1982 and his son is selling it now he is dead.
Not to say old people are slow or anything, before our 'older' members jump on me
just that most small car auto's are driven by people with medical reasons or just cant be bothered.
imho

It bugs me that people seriously believe everything the DVLA tells them
I'm pretty sure there's one of those in my town... Just not blue!

Perhaps the oldies who bought autos looked after them better than the middle-aged who bought manuals? (Young people couldn't afford new Hondas). That is, the autos have survived better.wurlycorner wrote:Why are old Honda's always auto?
Howmanyleft.com has 73 left plus 4 sorned, but none of the rare Rover Quintets are listed.
Didn't the Quintet evolve into the Integra? Even if not, someone should buy a JDM version, which had a slightly shorter name, if only because the badge makes you look at it twice:-

Because auto were all the rage in the 80s and auto transmission technology upped its game.
Auto are very much back in fashion today especially with flappy paddle manual modes.

I'd drive that
I normally prefer a manual gearbox, but on my 2-3 mile town based commute an auto box is ideal. Although about 1 mile of it is national limit main road, and it was so cold today that my Isuzu's auto box didn't heat up enough for either 4th gear or overdrive to engage, so I did the entire fast bit in 3rd
