You won't get down the front of the rear arches properly from the boot, long lance or not. It just doesn't work properly. Aside from the angle and small gap, there are several skins inside the rear quarter panels that you need to get either side of.
This can only be done properly by accessing from inside the rear of the car.
Boot panels need fingers and might also need a flathead screwdriver/long nose pliers/trim removal tool to pull out the plastic fir tree clips (assuming they haven't been removed already...)
Rear seats need fingers and a (
) 10mm socket to undo them.
Side panels need a small cross head (pozi) screwdriver and then hands.
Seatbelt tensioners need a (
) 14mm and 12mm socket to undo them.
It's all clearly explained in the service manual, in the wiki section.
I took loads of pics when I did my UKDM a few years ago, but can't remember if I updated my profile with it...
Have a look at the profile (linked in my signature below) and see.

Thanks Wurly, I have read your profiles before for inspiration and seem to remember that you applied the S50 at the bodyshop after the respray and I don’t recall seeing pictures, but I will have another look.wurlycorner wrote:You won't get down the front of the rear arches properly from the boot, long lance or not. Yep, this gets into another bit that can't be reached from anywhere elseVtecmec wrote:Ther is also a well placed grommet at the end of the sills at the front bottom (lol) of the arches, you can get some good access from there too.

So many skins round all the sills and pillars...

I took the panels off the other day so the car is currently party in bits, at least interior wise. Me being me, I could not work out where to start spraying the dynax S50. I took a couple of pics, see below. Please can someone mark on the pics where to spray? Or explain.
