Not me - I haven't got a drokking clue what a yard is. Bloody skips only come in them though still, for some reason...

Was originally pencilled in the diary for this weekend, but cause of running out of concrete and then the weather (temperature) delaying things, it'll now be between christmas and new year (I'm away for 2 weeks between then and now).

Anyway, next 5 days are meant to stay warm enough that the concrete will cure ok, so last night Lisa and I filled in the last hole. Another 17 bags of C40

But... We're now out of the ground! :D :10:

So now just need to get the studs w/fixings, SDS bits, resin anchors, structural grout and ply for shuttering that, 50m of cabling w/connectors, hydraulic oil and some brains and brawn to assist...
And we're in business!

You didn't need to shutter the outside bit in the end then (ref. bottom pic)?

Nope.
Because the opposite pad was deliberately not filled to the top (to ensure the back of the ramp was as low as possible of course, not at all because Phil and I were 1 bag of concrete short of a full hole  ) both pads are now filled slightly below the level of the existing screed.

I'll have to top up the holes level to the original screed with resin (or maybe I'll see if I can get away with a thin screed of concrete) after the ramp is installed, to avoid trip hazards etc.

The resin grout to go under the front columns will need shuttering though.

Incidentally, one bonus I discovered last night...
50m of armoured cable isn't cheap, but it's less than half the price I thought it would be! So that means that is back on the agenda, instead of drokking about taking ages installing single core cabling run in plastic conduit, which is what I thought I would end up having to do, to save the pennies! :hail:
