what max hp can you take the engine to without problems ?

not like 340bhp is low or anything lol, bet it shifts now !
I don't know really mate but the turbo is rated to 620bhp  :D
Merlin wrote:Congrats! That is some nice grunt. Does it spin up the wheels?

95a  I have the 85a and that is a "race" car. No wonder it shakes
Well with my tyres(jobby) and suspension only on 40mm lowering springs it was spinning third in the wet  but I'm yet to give it some in the dry. Next on my list is got to be tyres

wurlycorner wrote:That is a very smooth power curve and flat as torque curve. Can't really see where the turbo comes on boost or vtec kicks in!

How much has your insurance gone up by as a result of all this work, btw? :D
Yeah the map is smooth the turbo is spooling at 2 psi at around 2k rpm which is quite good for the size of turbo I went for :D

As for insurance I was quite surprised to find out with all mods declared it only increased by £28 something a month 8-)

His underpant bill has added another £300, however.

Awesome motor 8-)

Well done matey. Massive respect for this build, as all the others. 8-) 8-) if there is one thing that dan can do is map drokking well. That was the kind of power and torque curve he got out the civic we took up to him last year. Smooth 8-) 8-) immense, that is all 8-) :D

Will it be re mapped after a run in??

Yeah he does know his stuff :) Hopefully going up for a few tweaks early/mid December got to get a minimum of a 1000 miles on the engine.

Is that whp or fly power and at what psi?

Very smooth power curve however I suspect after a good run in this should hit 400.

That power is at the fly wheel mate on 7 psi.before i went sleeved the car made 262bhp at the fly on 7 psi. so I have gained 80 bhp with the 3" exhaust, ram horn manifold and the better turbo :D

Well at 7psi those are excellent numbers. Considering I'm around 290hp/230tq at 6.3 psi.
