no it wont due to different connectors - 4th gen has two plugs and 5th gen has one if i remember right

you still looking for a 4th gen alternator?

. A few ATR and 5th gen alternators about. But I really don't think they fit. Just need someone to confirm.

I have a spare 4th gen alternator - kind of want to hang onto it but its there if you cant find anything else

Nope, not me I'm afraid, I did say to Chris that I think I have one (bought one from GJM IIRC to replace the spare I had to use on the 3g) but I don't know where I've stashed it in amongst all the other lude crap I have piled up everywhere atm!

oh dear, hope you've still got it somewhere, may be useful one day, the battery went flat again on my 3g tonight, bugger. Did a quick voltage check when I got her home: 13.5 on high tickover/ no accessories , 11.8 with all accessories on, main beam/ rear screen etc.. 12.8 on tickover, with only headlight on,,, conclusion?
