Woooo, got the oil lines for the catch tank delivered this morning :)

wasted no time fitting them & the tank

engine bay is still a bit messy, still need to finish off the wires and vac lines and get new engine mounts.
but next up should be finishing off the boost piping and then finally fitting the intercooler :)

Still waiting on the new silicone connectors coming to finish off the boost pipes, but we got a delivery this morning :)

Bailey DV26 & suprise suprise.. a pink connector

Image

However..I dont know if you can see from the picture, but the pipe on the boost pipe is alot thicker than the BOV :/

so the silicone hose fits the BOV no problem

Image

But after boiling the kettle and letting the hose soften up in a cup there was still no chance it would not go on more than 5mm
no wonder though..
Image

so.. out came the grinder

Image

started on the first wee lip, you can see the difference compared to the bottom..
Image

worked round and then blended the second lip in :)

like a glove...

:)

Got the T-clamps in the post as of today, as we didn't know what size to order :P

, Got the new silicone elbows the other day and the 2.5" connectors for the boost pipes came yesterday !
got everything fitted today :)

Image

Also ordered 4 meters of pink vac line :)
Image

New T-clamps for the Bov too
Image

So since the connectors came we could get the intercooler fitted, and the reason I ordered silicone connectors ?

Because awesome...

Getting there :)
Still need to get nice engine mounts and sort the vac lines..

Looking great. :D (Except your intercooler tubes are an abomination.)
