They'd maybe give it to me for nothing. Currently prepping for a presentation to a fairly large audience... somehow I need to make skin diseases jazzy so I don't bore everyone (peer-assessed assignment worth 30% of this module)! Obviously disgusting pictures are a must.

Picked up the Mini today: another year's MoT.
It's been off the road for ages while the Metro engine was fitted, along with some other stuff. Now it goes very well. I forgot about the difference in speedo drive ratios, though, and it under-reads by too much. I'd also forgotten how bumpy it is to drive and the sensation of speed. I took a curve I know well at an indicated 50-ish and wondered why it got so close to understeering. Jan was following in the Lude: he reckoned I was doing nearer 75 and we were both going faster than he thought wise ...
