Another joyous phone call to Student Finance England.
I applied 4th of June. Chased them at least a dozen times since then, financial evidence sent 5 times now, had to prove my sponsor was real 3 times. Last I heard from them was the 12th September. Just been told on the phone they had it all processed by the 29th Sept... but someone forgot to click the go button so it's been sitting there since then doing nothing. Now I have to wait another 5 working days before I hear the outcome?! 165 days and counting.
The plus side is at the moment I only owe this much because so far they've only processed last year

For me to be able to pay off my total student loan plus interest (about £70k) within the 30 year limit before they write it off, I need to be earning min. 50k/year. Not complaining, would be difficult to do this without student finance, just wish they would employ some people that know how to communicate properly

Why don't you apply for a job with them and write off your loan? Failing that tell them you can't prove you are real and just a figment of your imagination. I would also tell them God is your new sponsor and please write to the Archbishop of Canterbury for proof that all three of him exist.
