So to update on this...
Picked the Jazz up from
@mercutio last weekend. Once again, thank you very very much for the help and was lovely to meet up with you. Hope the bottle is good stuff for you
Driven a Jazz 1 lots (which are very good) but this is the first time I've driven a Jazz 2 and it's even better. Seriously, if you're looking for a small car and you can afford a Jazz but
don't buy one... Then quite frankly you're drokking mad! They are THAT good
Anyway, the long and short of the particular Cat C one I bought via dubious means is...
That I got a bloody bargain!

The car is great. I'm very relieved (couldn't have been dumping Lisa's mum with a basket case

)
Here she is;

And that's the corner that was in the accident!
There are/where some things not quite right with it of course. All in techni-colour glory below;
Bonnet panel gap to wing not spot on

Or with the passenger headlight

But that's because;

So easily sorted.
The curve of the wing doesn't line up exactly with the door, just needs adjusting on the bottom bolt but I didn't have time;

Otherwise the panel gap is spot on;

Can see it's been off/replaced though (top bolt isn't original

);
Nearside A pillar trim doesn't sit on perfectly;
The paint on the A-pillar (part of the wing) wasn't finished very well (not rubbed down enough before colour coat) but hard to photograph and can only see up close;

Paint on the leading edge of the drivers door is a bit scuffed (obviously didn't bother respraying that and I don't blame them - hardly noticeable);

There's a tiny scuff on the door itself too;

And there's a 'mushroom' shaped area of paint on the wing that's off-colour (think it's over a spot of filler that wasn't prepped or primered properly);

Repair to the offside corner of the bumper could have been done slightly better;

For some reason the back plate was manky!

Couple of scuffs on the boot around the rear washer jet down to the metal, so need touching in very quickly (nb: the original paint is quite thin on these cars!)
Interior is lovely;

Except Nitin has obviously been in the boot at some point;

And it needs a vacuum;

And the drivers side seat belt bolt was loose/missing the bolt spacer.
Nearside rear view mirror scuffed and has been sorted with touch up paint (so pre-accident I think!)
But they're all minor things really, it is a used car so what do you expect?! At the end of the day it's a 4 year old Jazz that's all straight and in solid and good condition, with only 30k on the clock and was literally half price!!!
Can't suss why it would have been Cat C, because the shell obviously didn't get damaged - inside near side arch all original/straight/no repairs;
So, had very limited time on the day and just sorted these few things for her;
New wiper blades all round with decent Bosch aeroblades (back was drokked, front ones were very worn);

Drivers seat belt bolt and spacer replaced with the correct items;

Handbrake adjusted (advisory on the last MOT and it was high).
Plate replaced;
