A bit worried about the amount of rust. Both rear arches, one of the front arches and the sill. Needs a lot of work. While I am prepared to get involved with some rust, this one sounds like it has loads of rust and will need thousands spent to resolve?

Yeah, didn't read in the text about nsf sill corroded. That's not a common place. If the MOT tester has noticed it despite the sill covers, it might not be that good.

However, you're not looking at "thousands" to repair. The sill and arch panels are readily available off the forum for a few hundred and it shouldn't cost you that much to get them professionally fitted and painted.
If the rest of the car is good, may very well be worth it.

ludicrouswill paid £250 for 2x new arches from on LG delivered, and £500 to get them fitted and sprayed - very good job as well! if you knock a measly £50 off the price of that lude, plus the £750 total to do the arches, that's 2k for your 'minter' 4g sorted, plus good mods and an gorgeous colour & looks 8-)

*sills wont be much either, but Wurly is correct about that point
