Ok. So apparently people stop you all the time to ask wtf your car is, and 60% of people who have seen it have said 'it looks like a squashed Range Rover'

I'm still not convinced on this whole power steering malarkey, but (at risk of sounding lame) £50 to fill the tank and getting like 40mpg is pretty cool and means I can save a bit more to get the minty Aerodeck on the road (finally!)!

Always liked these. Worked on a few back when I lived in FL. A mate of my ex out there had a modified one. Lime green with a metal flake roof, dude named Thom. Also worked on one with a roof chop which looked awesome!!!

This one was owned by a guy in the rat look club I used to help run as well. It didn't stay rat for long, but I love the look of this!

Looks more hot rod inspired than rat! Awesome though!

Spoiler arrived today and is already on the car... Although very disappointed to find the OEM style one had been stuck on with what appeared to be tiger seal :x so the paint will now need touching up on the tailgate (and the old spoiler is probably not re-saleable now  )

I didn't manage to get any photos of the old one but it basically had two large dimples in the top, which proper OEM ones have with a cap that hides the mounting points, but this one appeared to have been fillered or painted over the caps... Knife went in the dimple edge, fibreglass came out, but no mounting points, just about 3inches square of sealer underneath :x

New spoiler mounts with double sided tape and two small clamps either side. The seller believes it may be 'Fabulous' brand as the vehicle it came off had a Fabulous front and rear bumper and grille but any distinguishing stickers may have been removed when it was painted black. Also mounts properly unlike cheap Thai replicas so even if it's not real it's definitely up there quality-wise. So happy with it 8-)

I'll try to get some photos in daylight tomorrow! :D

It was rat when it was bare metal with the welds from the chop top showing, but he then decided to tidy it up.

That's cool on the spoiler, especially on the quality of it too :)

Photos! Sorry, bB is dirty

It sits a little higher on one side so needs to come off and go back on (needs painting yet anyway) but I think it looks great - maybe not to everyones tastes though ;)
