I know what they're about, but I also have never understood the fascination with these either.

Low power, rear wheel drive, lightweight, solid reliability and epic tunning following and fun/easy to drive made it a instant hit.

I think they look sweet but needs to be the corolla with erection headlights.

Yep, like I said, I know what they're about, but just don't understand the fascination - it's just a 'they don't do it for me' kinda thing. Not anti them, just don't get excited about them.

I think they're great cars and would have one in the stable anytime. Putting scissor doors on it like fitting them to a Mk 2 Escort RS.
