Ok... Good guesses but no banana I'm afraid, so I'll just spill...
What you can see there is a view down the back of the engine on my recently acquired CX (the one with the leather interior).
At the bottom (hard to make out) is on one side a driveshaft intermediate joint and opposite that, the back of the ali sump.
In between those 2 you can see the old oil pressure switch that I had replaced, nestling in a nice freshly formed hole in said sump.
