Thanks for thinking of me.

Have quite a bit more to spend than that though, so as looking to get something with even more life left in it tbh.

What year/engine/spec is that though, btw?

Seen a few Jazz 1's in the price range but none tickled my fancy.

Timescale the car is needed in has been suddenly shortened, so...
Just bought this (I think it's a Cat C) sight unseen, halfway up the country from a bloke who leaves the country on Saturday
This can only end, errr... Well!

If the car is as described though, that's a serious drokking bargain. And at least I called him and spoke to him for all of 2 mins before bidding?

And now to make matters worse, I've stuck £200 into the bank account of some bloke I've only spoken to on the phone twice and then on Saturday it's going to be picked up by some other random guy in Manchester (thanks @Mercutio ;) ) and on the strength of his phone call, I'll then transfer the rest of the money into the other blokes account.
:?

You plonker Rodney!

But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

Well, there are some decent people in the world - and I don't just mean @Mercutio who has been amazing - giving up his Saturday morning to go over and check the car over, give me a call to let me know what it's like, hung around while I sorted out transferring the cash, sorted out the paperwork and then driven it back to his, where he's now giving it house-room on his drive for a week until we can collect it :hail: +rep

But also, aside from that, the seller was apparently completely genuine and Lisa's mum is now the proud owner of a Jazz worth around £6k, for only £3.4k :D ;) :10:
