Cheers wurly - i wasnt 100 percent sure but it does look like a tps
i wonder if this part will do or if i can swap over the tps from my H22A onto this A7 manifold :?

Rest of IM and Tb looks sound - i can see some modifications have been made already so hoping this might be a straight bolt on to my H22A head
Time to do some reaearch :) it came from bristolbb4 - im thinking this came off on A7 head so i might need to get some machining work done to it or find an A7/Type S or A8 head and cams..

Yes just swap your TPS over. Just 2 screws and a small o ring gasket.

yep defo TPS as they say :)
if you are putting it onto a h22a (plus I think the type S or A8 head) then you'll need to get someone to match up the inlet ports to the head, not much needed but if you have the tools & time you can do it yourself.
if you are planning on getting an A7 head instead then its a plug and play of course as the two come from the same engine :)

cheers @Drax - it looks to me like this has had some mods done to it already - as i say i bought it from ste so im presuming work has been done to make this work in a 4g albeit with an A7 Atr engine. I can see a IACV adapter plate is on there and the injector air holes been blocked off and looks like the angled valve job has been done. So im working on the assumption that all i now need to do is swap the ATR injectors for stock H22A ones and maybe like you say get the inlet ports matched up but i need to check this hasnt already been done
Let me know if you think ive missed anything :)

you'll need a resistor in all 4 of the injector wiring to sort out the injector differences between the h22 and the a7 as one is peak&hold and the other is saturated, im sure a few people here have sorted where best to put them in as i need to be showed how/where to do that as well for mine :D

can you see if any work has been done around the top sections of the 4 inlet ports where it would go through to the block, as im pretty sure its the top of these that need widening ( :?: ) to fit with the h22 head

I was going to use the stock H22 injectors and avoid the need for any wiring changes :?

I can see there are some tool marks at the top of the inlet ports where the injectors sit - so it looks like that may already have been taken care of - here a few pics - what do you think?

Also looks like a 4g egr valve on there so i might just keep that in place rather than blank it off.

hmm thinking about it you are probably right, if you use the stock h22 injectors and fuel rail then you don't need the resistor, but if you use the atr fuel rail and injectors (or aftermarket rail and injectors :?: ) then you need the resistor on each of the x4 injector wires. im sure this has been covered before but quite a few people will be doing this atr inlet mod each year and we could do with a wiki guide (hint to the lg mod gods ;) ).

id definitely agree with you there with the work that's been done from those pics, I can double check my atr inlet at home to make sure later but they seems much wider at the top than the stock atr inlets, saves you time & money 8-)
