:think: Jon weighed the side windows from his breaker and compared to polycarbonate, I think?

Assuming I can get them out this weekend (I've ordered a proper windscreen removal kit now! :lol: ) I can weigh the windows from my breaker at some point for you...

Yeah it would be interesting as a heads up. I am deffo going forward with this anyway as there is weight savings to be made 8-)

I'm gonna be getting this done as well. I've sorned the car this morning so may as well start more work for next year's track time

are you planning on getting a cage fitted bud? cos if not, and you already weigh a whispery 1050kg as far as I remember, with these poly windows and a few hits with an angle grinder, you may make below the magic 1000kg mark.... 8-)

Getting down to 1000kg would be an achievement.

By my calculations, going by the weight readings taken by the scrutineers throughout the season, my car weighs in the region of 1085kg without my cage. But 60kg of cage beefs it back up again.

Yeah I will definitely be going for a cage before I go back out next year. On the brake rollers/mot tester mine read in at 1086 with the mot tester sat in

Was on a empty tank of fuel as well tho
I've removed all unnecessary wiring as well and stripped the mirrors right down.
