Is it worth me putting a m2b4 box in my accord type r as 5th gear is getting worse on the u2q7 box it's just iv got my mates m2b4 box sitting in my garage

IMO the u2q7 is a much better gearbox than the m2b4, better ratio's for driving round town, quicker to 60, and has a better LSD. I would try and get the u2q7 fixed.

It's ok iv found someone selling h2q7 for just under 300. What's one worth with it crunching into 5th

why is it all that a load of the ATR LSD boxes seem to have 5th gear crunch

possibly the only reason to get the M2B4 over the U2Q7 is that they seem to last longer, are more readily available and lower cost

Only on preface models, honda rectified it for facelift.
