Yeah, sounds like fun.

I went with some German visitors to Stonehenge today. I didn't like it much. What's happened with the visitor centre, roads and stuff is a lost opportunity.

Then on to Caen Hill locks, which is always a hit for our foreign friends.

And finally, Avebury. This knocks spots off Stonehenge, in my opinion. Unfortunately, one of our party had a dodgy knee that decided to flare up as we got closer to the stones. Without a walk around, you don't get the full picture.

Just looked up going to Stonehenge as it's somewhere my partners wanted to go for a while £13 per adult to get in what the hell is that about

Overpriced; underwhelming.
You can't see the stones from the visitor centre. And when you get to them, it's all a bit "so what?"

Go to Avebury instead.

I've spent most of my day teaching the more sensible one of my dogs how to behave on a farm. He managed to go all day and only have a horse try and kick him once so I guess that's something of a success - he certainly won't be running up to the horses that quickly again if he's got a shred of sense  to be fair apart from the one blip he was very well behaved the rest of the time, he certainly enjoyed all the space :)

Seeing as I was up at the yard and had time to kill I got one of the wheels off the lawn tractor as it has a puncture. I've got a new tyre in the boot of my Isuzu so when my mechanic friend is back from his hols I'll hopefully get that sorted. In the meantime I've repurposed one of the logs from the wood stack to make an environmentally friendly axle stand
