Track brake setup

Post by rhubarb49 » Fri Aug 22, 2014 6:35 pm

Anyone who's done track days in a prelude (ideally a 5G) - what brake setup have you got (discs/pads/fluid etc)? How much wear do you get on brake pads on a track with heavy braking (snetterton/bedford autodrome etc)?

I seen a lot of people using ATR discs and calipers with ferodo pads, they change the brake fluid aswell but I don't remember which one

Castrol React Performance Dot 4 or Motul RBF 660 fluid. I used the Castrol stuff when I had braided hoses, blank discs, Hawk HP+ pads, and standard calipers.

You can get both fluids from Opie Oils and get an LG discount too http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/opie-oi ... t7560.html
