Yea thanks chap. TBH I was expecting it not to work that well but it turned out real nice. I still need your profession on cutting it maybe :? ;). The only other outing I will be doing is Santa pod in October I think. Then apart from the odd drive to keep it moving it will be mainly under a cover until next year :( But needs must and all that :)

Don't MOT brake test bays weigh the axles these days?

Another Track 4th gen - Torque Technique Exhaust fitted

Post by Thebusofwoe » Thu Aug 28, 2014 11:06 pm

Hey guys.

Picked the Prelude up from Torque Technique this afternoon 8-) 8-) So I stayed with 2,1/4 inch as he said it would up the cost a little if I went 2,1/2 so stayed put.

My main requirements before booking it was to get the bore the correct size all the way through, and to quiet it down a bit. Well, I am very impressed with both the work and the performance/sound 8-) 8-) I could feel the difference straight away. Wouldn't say its much faster, but jobby, does it pull harder. Its got a lovely sound, with a bit of a rasp :? But hey, Its made well, and it looks 8-) Just how I wanted it :D :D

Will get some decent pics of the underneath on Saturday. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone near that wants a custom exhaust system fitted. I am also in talks with him about getting a manifold made as the ebay jobby wont do for much longer ;) 8-) BUT, you do have to drum it into his head as to how you would want it, Tip position ect as he does forget  Then does it his way   But hes a honest top bloke :)

Cheers chaps :D

Looks like you'll have a blast on Monday, good work with the car bud, do you mind me asking what sort of money a custom exhaust costs? Did it also include the manifold? We have a firm down this way that does it and have quite fancied getting it done.
