HELP PLEASE! What do I need to fit my 4g jdm foglights?
Post by crigal.bb6 » Wed Aug 20, 2014 5:58 pm
Hello luders.
I am selling my bb4's foglighs to @Andreika609 and i am not sure what he will need other than the foglights and the switch to get them working in his car?
Photos or diagrams would help as I am challenged in the understanding of wiring. Lol.
All usefull input is welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Craig.

Those, plus the extra relay with short loom from near the fusebox.
Loom behind the bumper should already be there on the other car.
(At least, that's what I think I've read on here!)
Oh, you also need very good luck to get the foglight cover screws off without breaking the covers!

All I needed to instal fogs was
1. fogs itself + covers
2. switch
3. relay and short harness extension 4-6 inches ( this are under the dashboard, around steering column. Find pics on internet and they will explain what you are looking for. (I'm on my mobile so can't help much more)
All needed wirings are already built in looms. At least my BB1 had them.
harness from pics above is not what you need. The one I had was about 4-6 inches long, had 4 wires and two connectors. One of them was matching relay socket and the other one was plugged into under dash loom. BTW connector from underdash loom is matching relay socket as well. This small harness does nothing else than extending existing loom.

Dont worry about that long harness which is in front of the car ,it must be there allready.
