Finally got an quote from Adrian Flux.
All mods declare plus 7 years no claims and the price is increased to £877.73 and I have to pay £27.50 if I choose to have 'agreed value' on the car..
The £27 is ok to have that piece of mind of agreed value but I thought the whole insurance was going to be cheaper then at least £877..
(previously I received a renewal letter from Sky at £700ish before my insurance ran out)

As the others have said, yes you can. However you can only use no claims bonus on one policy.nitin_s1 wrote:Can I have two different insurance for two different cars??
So your 7 years NCB on the Prelude, for the other car you will have to declare 0 NCB but if you phone them say that you have 7 years on another policy they might give you a discount.
When I had a second car I insured it with same company as the lude, they gave me 2 years NCB discount on the policy when I had 7 years on the lude policy.

Funnily enough, if you buy Admiral multicar insurance online they ask you to not duplicate your no claims when you enter the details - I started my policy off with 2 cars and their separate no claims. I've added/removed a few cars since then though (over the phone) and each time I've added a new car they've been happy to mirror my NCB from my main car
But yeah, most other places I've tried over the years haven't been that hot on offering a discount for NCB in use on another car, I think they liked the idea of my money in their pocket too much

Unless you have clocked up NCB on more than one car/policy, of course, in which case you have more than one NCB...Gayno wrote: As the others have said, yes you can. However you can only use no claims bonus on one policy.
