Obviously the systems themselves are connected. I think we may have crossed wires here? Everything I've been led to believe off the 3geez forum though says the fluid for each system is totally separate. So bleeding the connected brakes fluid, but not the disconnected ALB fluid, shouldn't affect the brakes themselves?
Maybe it's completely the wrong information though, this is the internet after all
Honda information on the ALB for the 3G Accord says that there is a 'fail safe' relay connected (which is definitely there in the fuse box) so that if the ALB itself fails the braking capacity is not affected...?
What I'm trying to say (I think?) is that yes, both systems need to be bled correctly to both work correctly, obviously. But if one is no longer connected, and the connected one is bled correctly, then the connected one will still work correctly, and the disconnected one will be irrelevant to the correct functioning of the connected one? Does that even make sense? I'm so tired and that was a lot of 'connect' or 'correct'
Downloading a service manual now, it's taking a while though. Looks like we've got a long night of reading ahead, after 2 hours sleep last night too.
