Got me Prelude aligned...

Post by James H » Tue Aug 19, 2014 5:11 pm

So now I am happy with the ride height & have let it settle in for a fair few hundred miles, I went & got my 5th gen wheel alignment done...

As to be expected with a low Prelude the camber is pretty bad, I know you can buy camber kits but there are tons, anyone got any experience with these cheaper eBay kits?
Also I have even heard of people using large washers to space the top out..... yep Im on a budget :?

Thanks

17" Buddy Club P1's
8j's
Front offset ET-13
Rear offset ET-8
Probably on 145mm drop on DC2 coilovers

You could use ATTS Prelude upper wishbones to push the camber more negative if thats what your looking for. They are slightly shorter.

Sorry typo that was meant to say D2 coilovers not DC2 ha

Surely making the upper wish bone shorter will result in even worse camber im trying to bring mine nearer to '0'
Anyone know anything about these??

Looks as though they don't fit 5th gen Preludes.

PS How much was you charged for tracking, if you don't mind me asking?

Ahhhhh rubbish! I'll keep an eye on the tyre wear & decide later if I really need to get it sorted.

Got charged £40 cash, he's pretty good & knows his stuff.... have used him before with various cars.

Have you the part number for the upper wishbone?
