It's funny you say that, as soon as I picked them up I thought that the sidewalls felt more pliable than other tyres I have kicking about... I just put it down to the heat/them being new. I'll let you know how they feel on the A6, Although it is a fair bit heavier than the lude so might be tough to compareGayno wrote:@jjmartin349571 - the exact size I have on the lude. Let me know what you think, but I find the sidewalls are very soft and as such create a slightly "vague" effect on initial turn in. They do however seem to grip very well.jjmartin349571 wrote:Bought some new shoes for the Audi yesterday, they arrived today
At any rate I look forward to trying these outthe rubber on the front of the car currently does not instil much faith in me so I haven't properly pushed it through the twisties yet...
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

The new handbrake cable is 99% installed...
But because nothing can ever go smoothly - does anyone know how to remove this fupper from the old cable? Seems to be rusted on

I half heartedly hit it with a hammer to no avail, then came inside and sulked for a bit (this also didn't remove it)

Not had a problem getting that bit apart before, it's the lever pin that normally seizes
Heat the bracket up should help?
If you're still stuck tomorrow let me know and I can see if I can get one off my breaker to put in post to you.

In exchange I'll get a quote on getting your AEM sent up to you, It doesn't weigh too much so I should be ok to cover the postage on our work account
