The car looks very nice. That is a strange reg number, is it a private one? What year is the car?

Thanks! It's a private plate I had for a few years now, the car is 1999

What's that from? Is it a very old reg format? i.e. the old 'area' registration plates?

I had a YIL 913? plate on an Alfa I once owned, that was a private Irish one ...and as it shares the same format, I'd say you're probably right.
