4th Gen Lower Ball Joint question

Post by sol-lude » Sun Jul 13, 2014 10:45 am

Hey guys,

I am doing the lower ball joints on the 4th gen i have the hub off etc and looking at the back there seems to be an edge that is in the way of me taking out the ball joint does anyone know if this can be removed or will i have to push the wheel bearing out a bit before i do the the ball joint?

Cheers

Ian

You shouldn't need to remove the bearing chap :? You should just need to remove the boot, remove the circlip and press it out.

That ring just flips out with a flat blade screwdriver as a pry.
