I think I'd want the JDM ones then..if they go up to 180mph.

So if I've got a P13 Spoon copy chipped ECU, and acquire a facelift UKDM loom, what else would I need to convert the JDM clocks from kph..if anything?

VSS related, or something that attaches to the clocks themselves? Or something down by the ECU?

The pulses from the VSS to ECU are always the same, the converter is only needed due to the way the clocks interpret the pulses. This is why the UKDM clocks are a good shout, swap the dash loom and wap the UKDM clocks in and you're golden. MPH and no converters spliced in anywhere.

The UKDM clocks read up to 150 btw, if you manage to exceed that you're doing rather well in a lude tbh!

150+

That's the goal!

Got 147mph out of my first 2.2 all those years ago..looking to beat that.

But not on our 70mph speed restricted motorways though, of course. :D

GPS or Speedo? Bear in mind all speedos are generally garbage over 100mph. The lude ones read 120mph @ 112mph.

Private roads are great

NS stands for nitto seiko who are the manufactuer of OEM dials - so your right they could be an OEM rarity ;)

I'm just pleased there are so many of them up and down the country. No matter where our LG members are, they seem to be ok at finding one! :)

My parts car is a 4th gen on a 91 plate! It also has the grey interior and those same dials.
