Well what I did today . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Diagnose a knocking engine on a 2013 CRV with the new 1.6 I-Dtec "Earth Dreams" engine. No one cylinder no compression, Knocking its tits off and smoking

In the process of taking engine out . . . . Fitting a new engine in. Honda factory are delivering one tomorrow for us

Also Diagnosed 3 faulty injectors on a jobby heap, Izusu Trooper. So also have those to do after engine, will be the Troopers 5th set of injectors

- Are the injectors really that crap or is it repeated fuel contamination causing the problem?

Yea 5th set. Apparently they are just bad injectors

Came in with a miss fire. I called izusu technical and yea, they confirmed it will be the 5th set. Only 3 are faulty but we change all 4 as a 'set'

Is it the 3.0?? They have a rep for being a bit unreliable in the fuel injector department. The older 3.1's are fairly bullet proof though (touch wood!)

I wind my dad up telling him hes got the wrong trooper as that's what he bought for twice what I paid, shoulda gone for a 3.1 like me
