tuner lug nuts

Post by macky_6 » Tue Jul 01, 2014 2:58 pm

At long last it is time to get some tuner lug nuts for my Work S2r's.

Are these genuine tuner lug nuts?

http://h-tune.co.uk/muteki-closed-end-l ... a-etc.html

I need genuine tuner nuts as the wholes on the the S2r's are tiny.

If not, can you recommend me any?

Cheers all 8-)

At the bottom right on the site, little red box 'Leave A Message' - do that man. Scott will likely get back to you pretty quick and knows his shiz.

Yes they are. I have a set of these and they fit my Rota's which only take tuner nuts.

Make sure you cover them with copper slip inside and out.

I had a spun one on the civic which had fused to the wheel, had to drill out the stud with a cobalt drill bit. Wasn't a genuine tuner nut but still a pita@!

@macky_6

You can see in the image that there is a long "key" that slides over the top of the nuts.

Good thread. I want some new wheel nuts. Does anyone know which are more reliable: the ones as above with the deep socket to remove them, or the ones with the internal star/hex bits? Like so...

Also running a set of muteki lug nuts on a set of rota's with no problems. common sense but dont use an impact gun with these as the key/wrench dont like it after a while as a mate found out ;)

I use Mcgard Spline drive tuner nuts and Mcgard tuner lockers.
