This actually makes alot of sense, of all the suspensions I've had over the years the spoons on the itr and the mugens on the bb4 were to me far better than any adjustable coilovers I've had. Im sure the bilsteins will be just as good.Ted wrote:Wasn't pointing the finger directly at you, consider this, they are a cracking set, far better than a lot of the adjustable platform ones out there and what most people do is buy a set of adjustables slap them on the car and wait for the adjusters to seize up before selling them on to somebody else who just bolts them on the car as they are anyway, each to their own but once set up adjustables are very rarely tampered with anyway. Bilstein went to a lot of trouble to get these to work properly, so much trouble in fact that when I bought a car to break and these were on it I kept them for myself. Lovely rideheight and cracking handling and fortunately bilstein has done all the hard work of setting them up for me.
Just something to think about thats all.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.
