Hello Tim.

My insurance is due for a renewal in July so I will be ringing around for some quotes.

I wanted to ask about 'Agreed Value' of cars. Last time I got a really bad offer on my great condition Prelude and had to fight hard for it. Do you set 'Agreed Value'??

We do offer this but only on cars which are standard (or very few mods) & which are over 20 years old.

After my recent post about the big changes with the Prestige Keep Moving Car Insurance Scheme, we had this feedback (all from last week) -

- I got cracking price from prestige for mines with mods declared etc. Cheaper than everywhere else i looked and great service from the guys at prestige! Def recommended. Chris Simpson, Audi Owners Club

Hi Dave,

I am a little disappointed to find out your cancellation charges were very high - £200. I always pay upfront for my insurance to get the cheapest prices and as I am breaking my prelude I was hoping to get a decent chunk back when I phoned to cancel like I have done with other policies like Tesco, their charges are £30 and the remainder of the month.

Your colleague quoted me £150 refund on a £750 insurance policy that I have only had for 3 months, now the rest of the service has been fantastic and its a shame about this issue. No doubt I am going to modify my car in future but as I wouldn't be using it for a full 12 months of the year I would be reluctant to use your company again!

To minimise the damage I am trying to get somebody to sort out swapping my insurance cover over to my BMW 330d and let my full year run with you guys and just cancel my Tesco policy, however after countless emails to Jade I am still yet to hear anything back! Please can you chase this up!
