Hey Wurly, good job!

When refitting the covers, I found cable ties are a much easier option than reusing the old hog clips.

Anyway, this was definitely not in the plan for today

Thrust bearing appears to have shat itself

Still, could be worse, readily available off t'interweb and ordered in a few minutes, at £27 delivered sometime next week.

Also the rear of the Safari has evidently decided to continue its return to nature (this was on the ground under the back bumper

)

Today I mainly cleaned up the garage to find all my camping gear ready for trip to Le Mans next week. Found some lude parts I no longer need which are now up for sale in the for sale section (shameless plug

)

Also got a couple of little jobs done on the car in prep for the trip.
