Ahhhhhh! There are multiple holes because it's a 'universal' filter. They accept different diameter pipes and allow for restricted access.
You only use (IIRC) 4 on the prelude install. Same bolt/hole secures the pipe and the bracket in one

And there are 2 brackets. Here's one I made earlier (after it had an adventure starting whilst covered by a plastic bag
