The whole front ATR brake set-up (Callipers, carriers and discs) would go on the Prelude really easy 'Straight forward'? Like you don't have to bend any dust shield cover etc etc? I only ask as I will have to get my local garage person to fit it. :?
Just remove it otherwise you have to bend it out of the way. And I though I was going to fit it for you???? :?
You were but we can't meet up as one time I am working or you are working..

If using stock 4g 15" wheels are you limited to only ATR calipers or can a bigger 300mm disc be squeezed in?

I think you'll be stuck with just the calipers. That's all I'm using under 16's, but even at that you'll find an improvement in both stopping power and the progressiveness of the brakes.

I've trial fitted on my ATR with TinTin's 16's and they fit, JUST! lol

The CR-V rear discs look spot on for a 282mm rear brake upgrade.

Once the 300mm ATR's are on the front of mine it seems rude not to upgrade the back ;-)

however the 300mm mondeo rear conversion is definately too much overkill for me.

hopefully it wont be too hard to make up a bracket to space the calipers out slightly

Just reporting my findings.
I have a full ep3 type r front brake set up. Calipers/carriers/ and 300mm discs

The brakes are much much better! Much stronger bite.
The swap it's self is so easy. The ep3 carrier bolts straight to 4g prelude Hub, no messing around. Then Bolt the caliper straight on. The discs just need re drilling to 4 stud. The centre bore is the same.
The caliper is much smaller and a lot lighter than than the standard prelude units.

At the moment I'm running standard ep3 pads and discs and the braking is great! When I fit performance discs with either yellow stuff pads or ds2500s there stoping force will be even better.

Well basicaly I can say exactly the same about my ATR brakes. I didn't check the weight, may be similar or higher, but I have two pistons, and where EBC was giving up there BlackDiamond showing what's worth. One of better investments on my lude

Yeah I'm there us a small amount of extra pressure from having the 2 pistons.
Tbh I would like ATR calipers mostly for the look tbh lol

I have just bought some atr calipers and discs. Another job to cross off the 'to-do' list'. Once I get around to fitting them that is. Knowing me it will be a few weeks down the line!
