Rear main steering angle sensor. Will most probably need replacing.

I have a rear main sensor, but cannot guarantee it works properly :? Wouldn't say they are easy to get. You could try a breakers :?

If you do replace it then FOLLOW THE MANUAL as it will req setting up iirc.

Ok thanks man I've got my 97 auto lude and 4ws works perfect on it and since I can't seem to get it sold I'm thinking of breaking it anyway.

4WS only improves the handling of the car, not make it worse. Unless there's something wrong with your 4WS rack, but then it shouldn't make any difference whether the system has locked out (put the light on) or not.

If your system keeps putting the light on, it does mean there's something wrong with the system.

What fault codes does it give you?
